ARTIFACTS SHOP

Slightly off the beaten path and tucked away in the valley, Artifacts country shop has made its home for more than a decade on a 200-year-old farm – known affectionately as Black Locust Acres. The shop, located on Pinewoods Road in Melrose, N.Y. on the site where the farm’s old barn stood, is overflowing to the rafters with antiques, collectables, and intriguing old stuff.

Owners Beth and Paul Cunningham capture the essence of yesterday set in a comfortable, inviting shop and garden. Find something perfect for your home and garden among our collection of primitives, country furniture, stoneware, cupboards, linens, jewelry, memory collages, typewriter jewelry, ephemera, ribbons and notions, feathers, buttons, candles, birdhouses, garden goods, and more.

Discover Paul’s art, which can be anything from a birdhouse to a frame made from wood and other found materials. After shopping, refresh yourself with our gourmet coffee, tea, or a cold soda. Outdoors next to the shop, take a walk or sit and relax in our Glass Roots Garden – named for the bits of pottery and glass that have surfaced from the ground every spring. It’s a place that shows how some things old can be made new again.
